The Institute for International Integration Studies (IIIS) here at Trinity College Dublin is pleased to announce its hosting of the 6th annual INFINITI Conference on International Finance, to be held on campus on 9-10 June 2008. The theme for the Conference is "Micro and Macro Foundations of International Financial Integration", and our confirmed keynote speakers are Maureen O'Hara and Barry Eichengreen.
Call for papers in all areas of international finance, particularly those that address aspects of international financial integration. Proposals for special sessions, roundtables and panel discussions are also welcome. Papers may be submitted directly at https://www.openconf.org/infiniti2008/openconf.php. (Please note that only completed papers should be submitted, and papers should not exceed 30 pages in length.) The deadline for paper submission is 31 January 2008.
A special issue of the Journal of Banking and Finance on the theme of "International Financing, Integration and the Market for Corporate Control" will be published under the Guest Editorship of the Conference Chair, Brian Lucey.
